| The Computer Centre is a central institution of the Ruhr University Bochum. The chancellorship is responsible for its operation, which is based on the constitution of the Ruhr University.
The tasks of the Computer Centre of the Ruhr University Bochum are put down in its
statutes, which at the same time form the rules for its administration and use.
The Computer Centre of the Ruhr University Bochum is the author of all the texts and photos on the internet pages of the Computer Centre. The contents are protected by copyright laws; any copy or alteration require a permission by the Computer Centre. This does not affect local copies on your own computer in order to watch the pages with an internet browser.
Exclusion of liability
The district court of Hamburg decided on May 12th, 1998 that people who publish links to other web pages may be partly responsible for the contents of the linked pages. According to the court, this can only be prevented by explicitly distancing oneself from those contents.
The pages of the Computer Centre of the Ruhr University Bochum do contain links to other web pages. The Computer Centre has no influence on the contents and the design of these pages.
The Computer Centre distances itself explicitly from the contents of all the pages that can be reached via links from the Computer Centre's web pages and does not adopt them.
